Sainte-Eulalie-d'Olt
Along the left bank of the Lot, in a fertile plain, at 4 km upstream from St Geniez, the medieval hamlet of Ste Eulalie d'Olt, village listed among the Prettiest Villages in France . The medieval town, nestled in greenery, charms the visitor with its stone houses, sometimes thatched, and their generously flowery façades. Through the twisting narrow alleys, shaded squares and spots, the walker discoves the secular past of the town and the local know-how in the workshops of the arts craftsmen. A land of traditions, the village managed to keep two: the Procession of Sainte Epine, the 2nd Sunday in July and the "Poule Un" (auction of donkey food) on 1 November.
