Situated in Southern Aveyron, within the Grands Causses Natural Regional Park, the Maison de Vignes is nestled in the heart of the Brias amphitheatre in Tournemire listed as a Unesco world heritage and a Natura 2000 site.

The accommodation

This small community house was entrusted to the excellent care of our association in 2016 to give it a new lease of life. Helped by a great team of benevolent workers and several hardworking people, we turned it into an atypical welcoming space overlooking the valley and the village a bit further down.

Everything here is conducive to letting go and to non-attachment: the river flows gently below (cool - 12 degrees on average). The hazel tree provides a nice shade, and the fruit trees offer lovely excuses to enjoy a refreshing nap. A table and some furniture made with pallets allow you to picnic and enjoy the campfire as the sunsets. We will tell you about our Nan bread recipe you can grill on hot stones!

And what about the night? Surrounded by the Tournemire amphitheatre, the Maison des Vignes offers a fantastic display of stars without light pollution.

You will have the feeling to be in the middle of nowhere. And yet, you'll find in the village of Tournemire, 800 m from the Maison des Vignes, all the facilities required to enjoy your stay fully. Hiking lovers and people looking for great outdoor natural spaces will be pleased to walk along the numerous hiking paths and trails that crisscross the amphitheatre and the Larzac plateau.

Throughout the year, this natural setting provides its share of ever-changing surprises. Between friends, with your family or as a couple, come and take a breath of fresh air at the Maison des Vignes.
