Campagnac is one of the gateways to the département of the Aveyron, in the Parc Naturel des Grands Causses (55 km from Rodez and 45 km from Millau), close to exit 41 of the A75 motorway. Campagnac probably developed around a Gallo-roman staging post on the ancient route that linked Rodez and the Gévaudan. The beautiful 18th century dwellings and the grain measures, in the Place, are witnesses to the trading activity which took place in the village thanks to its position on the route. Walks will enable you to discover: the source of the Serre, tributary of the Aveyron, Canac and its Roman church (11th and 12th century) full of legends and its panorama over the Lot valley and the Aubrac, ...
