Situada en el corazón de la meseta del Larzac, cerca de Nant, la Ferme des Homs ofrece la visita de una explotación agrícola especializada en el cultivo y la transformación de plantas aromáticas en agricultura ecológica.
Taken over by Marion and Romain, the farm is part of the territory’s history: it belongs to the lands redistributed after the Larzac struggle, now enhanced through committed, small-scale farming.
Whether you come as a group, a club, or an association, you will discover the different stages of production accompanied by one of the producers:
Cultivation of aromatic plants (thyme, rosemary, lavender, mint…)
Gathering of wild plants and fruits on the Causses
Processing areas: drying room, distillery, storage facilities
Techniques used: drying, maceration, distillation
The visit ends with a tasting of the farm’s products: aperitifs and flavored vinegars (Larzac pastis, quince, blackberry, pear, and sloe liqueurs…).
Visits are available by prior booking for groups of 20 people or more – duration: 2 to 3 hours.
