Aveyron, with its regional capital Rodez, is considered one of the most secret departments of France, isolated for years by its geography. The mountains of Aubrac to the north, the Peuls escarpments of Lévézou in the center and the Grands Causses in the south.

The region is also rich in history. Human occupation dates back to the Neolithic, and the caves of Foissac, real underground museums, are worth a visit. Roman conquerors, Saracen invaders and Templars have all left their mark on the region, including our village.
