Dating back to the 18th century, this rustic farmhouse, though renovated for contemporary comfort, will remind you of a time when humans lived in closer symbiosis with the natural world. The house was built of stone, and also built into the rock, no doubt requiring many months of hard labor. This means that the ground floor remains naturally very cool in the summer. Larger windows, as well as a terrace, make for sunny rooms on the south side.
The house is currently configured to sleep 12 persons maximum, featuring :
- Four double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms/WC (see photos and descriptions of each room below)
- Two living/sitting rooms,
- A dining room with a table for 12 guests,
- A large open kitchen, fully equipped, with room for all 12 cooks!
- Extra guest toilet and sink on the ground floor (the house totals five toilets).
- South-facing and north-facing decks with open views.
