Au Mas de Conques

Quiet, comfortable country house with heated swimming pool from Easter to the end of September.

The house at the "Mas de Conques" was built in 1895 in local stone, in the architectural style of the time. Initially, in 1990, the house was transformed into a rural lodging. It was renovated in 2015, mainly at the bedroom level as well as part of the kitchen. In 2021, the construction of a swimming pool, an adjoining terrace and the modification of the surroundings were carried out, thus privatizing the gîte.

The house offers all the comforts necessary for a great vacation, it consists of 130m2 on 3 floors served by a central staircase.

On the ground floor, you will find the fully open living space you will find, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room, in which you will have the pleasure of meeting together to share your holidays with your family or friends. .

The cottage can accommodate up to 8 people in 5 separate bedrooms, 3 bedrooms with double beds on the ground floor and 2 others with single bed on the ground floor.

On each floor of the bedrooms there is 1 shower room and 1 WC which offers the comfort of sanitary facilities to each tenant.

The house is made of thick country stone wall, which provides natural air conditioning in summer and thanks to its fireplace and electric heating, gentle heat in winter.

As an extension of the living space, 2 comfortable terraces equipped with tables, chairs, armchairs and benches, will allow you to fully enjoy the sun or the shade as you wish. One is to the southeast (swimming pool) and the other to the west (barbecue). The 40m2 closed and secure lawn garden will allow you to let your young children roam freely. The 4.5 x 5 m by 1.4 m high swimming pool, out of sight and secure, will offer you all the benefits and pleasures of swimming in summer and mid-season thanks to the heated water.

From the house you can go on foot for beautiful walks. To the north, you will find the village of Vailhourles 500m away. To the south, a walk on the little road with little traffic will take you high up, first to a remarkable viewpoint, then into the surrounding countryside. Many paths crisscross the countryside inviting you to great discoveries.

You will find the village of Memer 2km away, its bakery, its convenience store, as well as a few shops.

15km away is Villefranche-de-Rouergue, an old Bastide well known to history buffs. You can stroll there in search of historical monuments, such as the Notre Dame collegiate church, the Black Penitents chapel or the St-Sauveur charterhouse, among the most remarkable. Najac, which is part of one of the most beautiful villages in France, is 20 minutes away.
