Between the Bois Noir and the red sandstone of Saint-Izaire, this is an easy route with beautiful views over the village of Calmels-et-le-Viala and the Len valley. Bonus: a remarkable heritage!

Along playful paths through undergrowth and stretches of single-track path, it's an easy route through superb countryside dotted with heritage features such as a chapel, a menhir statue and the birthplace of a famous archaeologist, Abbé Hermet. At the end of the route: a panoramic view of Saint-Izaire, a veritable jewel of red sandstone on the banks of the River Dourdou.
