Collection of heritage buildings from the industrial revolution.
Collection of heritage buildings from the industrial revolution with the installation of forges and coal mining equipment. What remains of the old forges are the chimneys with their detailed tops (Listed Historic Monument), the lake, the Arcades (former administrative offices of the Forges) and a religious and civil heritage: Notre Dame du Gua church and its metallic roof structure (Listed Historic Monument), the Jules Ferry school, a palatial school building (Listed Historic Monument). A memorial, inaugurated in 2009, pays homage to the victims of the 1869 fusillade during strikes.
