Construction insolite Saint-Sever-du-Moustier Heritage

The idea to build La Construction Insolite of Saint-Sever was born in 2003.

The project was twofold:

- To erect a solid and whimsical architectural work, in the tradition of Gaudi, the Cheval factor, and

all the forgotten creators who felt legitimate to beautify their environment.

- Offer participants of all ages and without any prior knowledge requirements a field of

game; a place of expression, creation, learning, and finally the construction of the heritage of

tomorrow.

More than 20 years later, the association’s members continue to build with enthusiasm and to welcome

groups for programmed or custom-made creative activities, for a day or more.

La Construction Insolite is freely open to individual or family visits. However, in order to

allow us to continue this project a piggy bank is set up at the entrance of the site.

For group visits, or guided and commented tours, it is necessary to take

prior contact with our association.

Please note, for safety reasons and since the site is a permanent construction site, visits are prohibited

night and the children must be accompanied.
