The internationally renowned painter Pierre Soulages was born in Rodez in 1919. A museum dedicated to the artist was created in his place of birth. It will house the work of Pierre Soulages and large temporary exhibitions.
Pierre Soulages today is one of the most famous living French painters in the world. His work is presented in more than 110 museums throughout the world. The museum Soulages presents his works and temporary exhibitions of national and international scope. The concept of the museum is innovative in itself. It consists of 6000 m2 of dark red strong steel-covered volumes. Drop-off area: Avenue Vistor-Hugo in Rodez
