Hydraulic flour mill on the Riou Viou.
The mill of Barry Haut has been used since the 15th century for the production of flour. After a video projection about the history of the site, the mill unveils itself to the visitor: the water of the Riou Viou, canalised at a few hundred metres upstream from the mill, drops 6 metres on the wheel that activates a spinning wheel and 2 pairs of grinding stones, one activated by a wheel, the other by a turbine (mechanic stops moved by hydraulic power). The wheat is slowly transformed into flour, the visitor follows the verious stages in real time. Visits animated by volunteers. Picnic possible.
