Situated in the regional Natural reserve of the Big Limestone plateaus, the city cheese maker of Roquefort, height 630 meters, 679 inhabitants, stretches in the side of the famous mass of fallen rocks of the Rock of Combalou, in the South of Larzac. Under outside quiet, Roquefort is also an industrial village where work near one thousand people on the refining of the famous cheese of Roquefort. Tradition going back to more thousand years, this one is jealously guarded in the depths of its natural cellars fitted out out of the rock in the mass of fallen rocks of Combalou, 2 km long and wide of 300.
Cellars visit all year long.
