Borne géodésique Rieupeyroux Natural heritage

The highest point of the commune lies just to the north of the town at a height of 804 metres. (Follow the D911 towards Villefranche then the road on the right signposted for the Chapel). Here you can take in the panoramic views from the Massif Central to the Pyrenées. The orientation table lets you identify the towns, villages and mountains both near and far. Beside the viewpoint there is also a triangulation point made from a solid block of granite.
