In the commune of Soulages Bonneval, ten minutes from Laguiole, can be visited at any season. Bathing is permitted and supervised in summer. There are large and small bathing areas with aquatic games for children and adolescents. Pedalos and canoes can be hired. Picnic areas are available in several locations all year round on the edge of the lake and there is a marked pedestrian circuit the whole way round it. Fishing is also an option at the Lac des Galens but a permit is required. You will appreciate its accessible banks.
