Close to the village of Conques, this house has a style all its own.

It is built entirely of wood, with no overlooking neighbours and an open view over the valley.

This XXL cabin faces due south. It has a large living room with kitchen and dining area, and three en-suite bedrooms. Insulated with ecological materials, it offers ideal thermal and humidity comfort.

Wellness, all year round: a 12-metre lap pool (unheated water) with a 75 m² terrace, plus a sauna and a Nordic bath, both wood-fired. The sauna and the Nordic bath cost €40 per weekend and €70 per week each. They are free in high season (1 July to 15 September) and during the Christmas holidays.

The Dourdou and Lot rivers are close by for swimming.

Around Grand-Vabre: Conques, one of the most beautiful villages in France, and its abbey church; La Vinzelle, a small village perched on a rocky spur; the night show "Hier un village" in Flagnac, late July and early August; Salles-la-Source and its waterfall in the middle of the village.

Good to know: the house is not suitable for young children (sloping grounds). Stairs lead up to the house. Non-smoking, no events, no pets. Respect for the place and the neighbours is a priority.

Check-in from 5 pm, check-out by 11 am. Minimum stay 2 nights, 4 nights at Christmas, Saturday to Saturday in high season.

The house must be left as you found it. Otherwise, €150 may be kept from the deposit. We walk round the house together on arrival and departure.
