A stone's throw from Najac, stronghold of the south west, and the bastide town of Villefranche de Rouergue, a small honey coloured stone house with its agreeable covered terrace for having your meals outside. The interior offers a vast living room with exposed beams, stone walls and old furnished where you will enjoy relaxing. The bedrooms on the first floor are pretty and fresh.

Le Bas-Ségala
The copper foundries of La Bastide l'Evêque existed in the 14th century and stopped working in the 19th century. The name "martinet" refers to the water powered hammer used in the foundry. Here, copper was beaten out into "coupes noires" (black cups) which were then sent to be finished elsewhere, including to coppersmiths in Villefranche. Today, the Ramonde foundry has been brought back to life by the Martinet Association
