Gîte "La maquisarde"

Au coeur d'une nature préservée, dans le le parc régional des grands Causses, venez vous ressourcer dans ce gîte chaleureux d'une capacité de 6 personnes. Calme, sérénité et une vue imprenable sur la vallée seront au rendez-vous !

The maquisarde is in a place composed of 2 houses including that of the owner, a barn that dates from 1929, a bread oven and an old chestnut dryer. It is an isolated hamlet in the heart of a still wild nature where it is common to cross the path of deer, foxes and many others... As well as a rich bird population! Beautiful energy circulates here...

The maquisarde is a detached house, with a warm and bright living room, with a kitchen area, dining area and a living room facing a large wood stove for evenings by the fire ... This room overlooks a large sheltered terrace (50m2), facing south with a magnificent view of the valley and the mountains of Lacaune, a real treat in all seasons and moreover with direct access to the sauna... On the ground floor the bathroom/wc and upstairs, 3 bedrooms and 1 toilet, all are equipped with double bed 140 of which one with twin beds in addition. bedrooms 1 and 2 are facing south with views of the surrounding mountains and bedroom 3 is facing north, with views of the stone buildings, the forest and the “secadou” with its slate roof … The place is provided with 3 springs, old oaks, small plots of pasture terrace, all surrounded by chestnut forest... You can also taste the honey from this terroir and the apple juice extracted from the fruits of our trees! Horses and the local mascot (Rosemary, our old travelling companion! a little grey donkey) are present all around.

You will have access to the orchard, vegetable garden, the surrounding woods with trails departing directly from the Maquisarde.

Starting June 1, 2023, it will be possible to book meals on site or picnic with Aveyron specialties such as the «flambadou»!!
