Welcome to "La Poterie du Tilleul"! A passionate potter for many years, Christine Grave designs and shapes her stoneware pieces and her jewelry in her workshop.

Christine Grave offers you a wide range of culinary pottery such as bowls, carafes, ovenproof dishes, and much more. The white glaze creates a beautiful contrast with the brown stoneware. Her work is particularly recognizable by decorations in cheerful colors and varied patterns, but she also offers a very simple line.

A new line of pieces with fine gold decoration complements the range.

For custom orders, wedding lists, corporate gifts, or orders for restaurants, be sure to get in touch as early as possible, as lead times can sometimes be quite long!

The production involves many steps:

Throwing on the potter's wheel, trimming, attaching handles, monitoring the different stages of drying, glazing, and creating the decoration – which in itself includes many sub-steps – as well as two firings are necessary to complete the pieces.

Some pieces receive a gold finish, applied with a brush, which requires a third firing.

Jewelry, and sometimes pieces as well, are made using the so-called 'slab' technique.

Combining a refined and joyful aesthetic with a durability that makes her pottery suitable for everyday use is at the heart of her concerns.
