Linked to the latest archaeological research in the Aveyron, presentation of temporary exhibitions and archaeological collections from the Aveyron. Pedagogical activities and visits to archaeological sites by appointment.
Archaeology of the Rouergue. Situated in the heart of the village of Montrozier, dominated by its 16th century château (listed building), the Departmental Archaeological Museum offers themed exhibitions on Aveyronnais heritage. The Rouergue museum and the ASPAA organise each year in Montrozier a programme of conferences and events. Information on 05 65 70 71 45 or 05 65 70 75 00. themed workshops for children to introduce them to the practices and methods of archaeology (by appointment): digs, wall painting, ceramics, flint, engravings, site visits...
