The Alzou country railway club was established in 1998 following a donation to the municipality of Lanuéjouls of a miniature railway network at the HO scale. The network was installed in the attic of the town hall after a refurbishment of the premises. Very soon became too small, the CFPA is now installed Drulhe road on 400m in a former industrial building completely renovated with the help of the municipality of the department and the region.

In addition to the 10 conventional train networks from 1/250 to 1/22, the Museum of Railway Modelling is also home to the museum. an exhibition of railway objects and a library. Outside the building the club has restored a semi-trailer of the 70's in which is installed a network in HO controlled by computer and having as theme the Basque coast; Title: The FEERIE du RAIL this network has already made numerous exhibitions both in France and abroad.
