At the heart of the Tarn valley, a few minutes from Millau, come and discover the secrets of the "red gold": Pauhle cherries and 200 years of tradition and aveyronnais savoir-faire. The "Maison de la Cerise" is situated in an old peasants house in the heart of the village of Paulhe. The ground floor of the museum is dedicated to the growing and harvesting of cherries through the ages and the first floor has an exhibition and sales of regional products. This museum informs visitors on the economy of the Vallée des Gorges du Tarn linked to the growing of "red gold" as say certain of the 170 producers who farm the 375 odd acres of cherry orchards giving an average production of 650 tonnes per year.Open: from mid MayAt the heart of the Tarn valley, a few minutes from Millau, come and discover the secrets of the "red gold": Pauhle cherries and 200 years of tradition and aveyronnais savoir-faire.
