Espalion
Perched on an peak, Calmont d'Olt, a Historic Monument, dominates the Lot valley and the town of Espalion. Daily show with shooting of the trebuchet and archery tournament make this castle perfect for the whole family.This fortified castle is the perfect example of Middle Age defenses. Guided and unguided tours on the theme of war in the medieval times is available. A complete program of shows and guided visits can be proposed in English upon request. Activities include : siege weapons, archery, weapons and protection and medieval life. An exceptional view of Espalion and the Aubrac is visible from the top of the restored keep with houses an archaeological exhibition.
