The Maison de la Mémoire du Pays Saint-Affricain collects, conserves and promotes the heritage of Saint Affrique in all its forms.

Inside youll find:

-A floor dedicated to temporary exhibitions, continually updated throughout the year, where you will discover the culture and heritage of Southern Aveyron.

You can stroll through five exhibition rooms filled with old objects that bear witness to rural life in the past, all donated by local residents over the past 30 years.

-The exhibition ‘Back to the Future’ will take you on a journey through the history of the town. Before and after photographs, taken over a period of more than a year, illustrate the constants and changes.

The Maison de la Mémoire also holds the municipal archives department, a working and regional studies library, and an activity area for children and adults (more info on www.saintaffrique.com).

The 5 permanent exhibition rooms also feature hundreds of objects bearing witness to life in the countryside in the past.
