Vélorail et Train Touristique du Larzac Sainte-Eulalie-de-Cernon

We're offering you an unusual journey!

Come and discover an old railway line with magnificent scenery and a rich heritage of railway engineering structures, including 12 tunnels and 6 viaducts, by velorail and/or tourist train. A fun excursion to the Larzac plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll enjoy panoramic views over the Cernon valley and the Templar capital of Ste Eulalie de Cernon.

Our activity offers several effortless routes.

PRACTICAL INFO

Les Papillons route: 4 km uphill by vélorail to Le Rouquet, return by vélorail all the way downhill to Ste Eulalie de Cernon station (1 Viaduct, 3 Tunnels). All the vélorails on the butterfly trail are electrically assisted.

Duration approx. 1 hour

Les Orchidées route : Descend 8km on a velorail, effortlessly, to Bastide Pradines station where you will stop to wait for the tourist train that will take you back to the departure station. (3 Viaducts, 4 Tunnels)

Duration approx. 2 hours

Larzac Express Route: Take the train to Bastide Pradines station and return by tourist train to Ste Eulalie de Cernon station (3 viaducts, 4 tunnels).

Duration approx. 1 hour

Le Grand Voyage route: Discover the whole of the track by first trying out the vélorail on the Les Papillons route and then, after a short break, you'll discover the other part of the railway line on the "Le Larzac-Express" tourist train.
