Small church of an ancient priory attached to Orlhaguet in 1790, it holds an inestimable treasure: its altarpiece in polychrome wood that recounts the life of Jesus in 18 frames. The chapelle de Mels, with its bell gable dating from the 16th century (notice the gargoyle) contains a 16th century altarpiece comprised of a group of sculptures representing the life of Christ
Above Le Truel, on the site of the chapel Saint-Cyrice of the Ifernet, the Parc naturel régional des Grands causses has installed an interpretation path around this peaceful site. Stop for picnic and discovery of the heritage.

The Joseph Vaylat museum of Arts et Traditions Populaires presents a traditional 19th century rourgat interior of a house ("cantou" fireplace, "souillarde" utility room and furniture...) as well as a rich collection of bedside fonts. Numerous objects of daily life from times gone by are presented by theme in an exceptional Gothic setting.
In the 19th century, a traveller arrived in Bournazel and wrote: "From the château to the lake, one doesn't know who, man or mother nature, was the architect, painter or goldsmith to create such a special, charming bucolic setting".
Saint Xist is situated in the commune of Clapier, between this village and that of Fondamente. It's bell-tower completes its elegant architecture and serves as a landmark for the small hamlet nestling at its feet. At he foot of the plateau du Guilhaumard, reputed for its rich flora and fauna, come and discover the Saint Xist botanical garden.
