Francis Grau and Guillaume Barrau have set up a breeding farm in the Domaine de Nayac, in the municipality of Saint Rome de Tarn. Besides cattle (Aubrac species), Bayeux pigs have been added to the herd 8 years ago for their taste quality.

On the clay-limestone sun-drenched slopes overlooking the Tarn, up and down stream form Millau, the 142 acre vineyard, in bygone years renowned for supplying the Popes of Avignon, is experiencing a real renaissance. The whites associate equal parts of mauzac and chenin grapses, the reds and rosés bring together the freshness of gamay and the power of syrah grapes. To discover: the renowned Domaine BERTAU rosé. An excellent wine to lay down, an agreeable local Aveyron wine and the range of local aperitifs (cartagène, guignolet, vin de noix (nut wine), apéritif à la truffe (truffle aperitif)).

La plage du Mas de la Nauc
