Rural Wood Museum
Over the years BEL furniture have built their fame and reputation based on a traditional and highly skilled production process. Today they like to show visitors and customers the old methods used by the craftsman of the past.
In 1996, the first visitors to the museum were able to see the workers tools of bygone days: Large planers, smaller planes, and marking gauges. Then, the museum started to develop and several workshops were added: the cabinetmakers, the sculptors, and the upholsterers. Meubles BEL (Bel furniture) now run the MUSÉE RURAL DU BOIS (Rural Wood Museum): wood and forest, nature, environment, ancient tools, and woodworking trades. The farm area of the rural museum still exists and will take you back in time to your childhood.
