L'Arc en Miel offers an educational guided visit at the heart of the world of honeybees

A unique and lively tour of an organic bee farm... To discover the country of Roquefort under the angle of the bees and committed beekeepers!

VISIT - IMMERSION IN THE WORLD OF BEES

Our goal is to make the "Visit-immersion in the heart of the bees' world" a unique, memorable and participative experience.

Let's meet our bees in LIVE : opening of the beehive all safe, macro video simultaneosly, glazed beehive

5 senses course : we breathe the beehive's air, we observe their communication mode, measures the intensity of their vibrations

« Pro » tasting : a real initiation to the organoleptic analyse of honeys, as it is practiced with wine (8-10 sample)

Visit adapted for adult/family groups (associations, CE, tribes ...) as well as groups of children and teenagers (school, daycare and recreation center, vacation camps). The visit is adapted to the level and age of the participants. It can be adjusted to your educational or professional project.

Option « the bee's guest » : one of the guest wear the outfit and open the beehive with the beekeeper

Option « express candle » : visitors can make a candle with our bee's wax. Each takes his /her creation !

We are located at 15minuts from Roquefort's cellars or from Montaigut castle.

VIP VISITS « beekeeper for a day »

A moment out of time, linked with the bees.

A customed visit of our organic honey house, privatized for the occasion : couple, family or friends group !

Experience is complete, for the ones who hope to live a closer meeting with the bees, receive a dedicated host, with sharing « the beekeeper's snack »…

The star guest of our guests put on the outfit and become beekeeper under the gaze of his family, in the middle of the buzzing of our friendly bees!

We share the beekeeper snack's before this unforgettable experience, and the professionals sampling techniques's of our honeys, and give us a behind-the-scenes look at this committed contemporary profession.

WORKSHOP WAX BEE CANDLES

A discovery of a healthy natural material, from its natural manufacture by bees to its use. Guided by the beekeeper, everyone uses simple technics to create 4 types of candles based on bee wax at 100%. Each person leaves with their own creation.

Workshop for everyone starting for 5yo. Ideal for kids group (school, vacation center…)

Workshop « wax and bee happy »

A creative interlude to discover, relax and make things together.

Beeswrap (food envelop), organic waxing, candle and chapstick will no longer have any secrets for you ! Organic and home-made pastry and drinks included, guide ans advices to re-do by yourself the previous activities : everything for a shared creative moment… Everyone takes their creations with them.

Time : 2h30. For teenagers and adults (13 years old and up). Ideal for friends groups, clubs, family… (8 participants maximum)

BIG GAME « HEAD AND WINGS »

A big game in the middle of nature (with trees and shade) to let off steam, play and validate what you have learned after the Immersion Visit. For groups of children from 5 to 12 years old. Time : 1 to 2 hours.
