Gîte Les Calades

In the old village under the rock of the medieval castle of Peyrelade, discover our cottage the Calades which adjoins our other 2 deposits Namasté and Glycine. The view is breathtaking on the valley at the entrance of the Gorges du Tarn and Jonte.

On the ground floor of the largest house in the old village, a large living room, a large bedroom and a terrace at sunset. Renovated in an ecological approach and respectful of places. The living room has a floor typical of local constructions. Called "calade" it is made with Tarn pebbles, placed on the field, on a bed of fine sand and grouted with lime.

Access from the village of Boyne, you park your car at the car park of the cottage near the castle Peyrelade. The access to the houses is done on foot on 150m which assures you a rejuvenating tranquility.

In the town of Riviere-sur-Tarn many sports activities are proposed: beach along the Tarn, hiking, animation around the castle Peyrelade climbing. Via ferrata to the nearby village of Liaucous. VTT on the Causses Noir, Méjean and Larzac. Canoeing kayak, delta, paragliding on Millau to 20 mn. Observation of the vultures on the neighboring cliffs and which pass each day above the lodgings.
