The gite called "Sous le Tilleul" (Accueil Paysan label) is adjoining , located in an educational farm welcoming visitors in summer. The farm is organic (Ecocert certified). The outdoor space is landscaped and planted with trees.
In the heart of a small village, on the limits of the Aveyron and the Hérault, this cosy recently renovated gîte welcomes you for pleasant holidays. Roquefort, Millau viaduct, La Couvertoirade... so many unmissable sites to visit close by! What's more, situated in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Grands Causses, nature lovers will be in seventh heaven!
You will be staying at Marijolet, a peaceful hamlet perched high and overlooking the Lot valley. Ideal place to stay for those who like walks and discovery: Lot Valley, Monts d'Aubrac, Grands Causses and Gorges du Tarn. An exclusive tourist location which will bring you to appreciate this pleasant very comfortably furnished maisonette all the more.
On descending the village lane, first of all you will spy the steeple of the old convent with its lauze covered roof that now houses 3 communal gîtes, close to the church. This is where you will stay, with panoramic view over the wooded slopes and the green prairies that overlook Castelnau dam on the river Lot.
Independent gite on 2 levels in a village. 3 Rooms (2 x 140, 2 x 90), bathroom, cellar (washing machine), kitchenette (dishwasher) / dining room, lounge (2 sofas one of which is convertible, television), complete electric heating, private enclosed garden (1,000 m²) and covered terrace (18 m²), garden lounge, barbecue.
Saujac is sheltered in a meander of the Lot, at the foot of the cliffs of the Causse of Quercy. The presbytery and its pleasant and well exposed "priest's garden" fit nicely into this environment. The vast living room opens onto the terrace at the same level, shaded by the trellis. For children: a games room under the eaves.
