The great lakes of the Lévézou

Up on this vast plateau, located between the Tarn and Aveyron valleys, the French power company, EDF, created 5 artificial lakes with a total surface area of 1,800 hectares. You can practice just about any water-sport imaginable, and anglers can enjoy two lakes reserved exclusively for fishing!

The surrounding hills and their traditional communities call out to be explored on foot, horse-back, or bicycle.

Go sailing, canoeing, jet skiing or parascending on the lakes of Pareloup, Pont de Salars and Villefranche de Panat. Lake Pareloup offers a boat tour of the lake, and all of the lakes have well-maintained beaches for sunbathing and swimming.
