La Roque Valzergues, close to St Saturnin de Lenne, was one of the 4 lordships of the Rouergue. Overlooking the Serre valley, the hamlet has conserved the vestiges of its fortifications. The Mini-Museum has been laid out in the postern adjoining the Grande Porte (main gate). In this small area, you can see an exhibition of ancient tools, photos and other touching souvenirs.

Suite à des vols dans les églises à la demande des autorités, l'évêché de l'Aveyron a procédé à l'inventaire des quatre églises de la commune d'Ayssènes. La richesse du contenu sacré avec une centaine de vêtements lithurgiques, de nombreux accessoires d'orfèvrerie, des tableaux anciens, l'a interpellé. Aprés reflexion et afin de les mettre en sécurité, un lieu d'exposition en continuité de la Maison de la Châtaigne a été aménagé.
