LE MARTINET DE LA RAMONDE

The Martinet Association gave itself the goal of bringing a martinet back to life, the martinet of the Ramonde. A Martinet is a hammer, the ancestor of the power hammer in which copper was founded and cauldrons were beaten out called "coupe noire" or black cups. The martinets in Bastide l'Evê-que existed in the 14th century and stopped working in the 19th century.

In the Martinets where copper was founded and cauldrons were beaten out called "coupe noire" or black cups. They were then delivered to the "Paédouliers" who finished them putting on the handles.
